Installation
If you have just bought a cage, it should be found in your Objects folder with a name like 8c_cage. Find it (search for the letters 8c_ [lower case c]), rez it into the world, and move it around until it's standing where you want it.
Who can open and close the door?
  1. The cage's owner.
  2. Any member of the group to which the cage is assigned.
How to open and close the door?
Just touch it. It will swing open if it is closed, or swing closed if it is open.
Modifications

You can easily paste a new texture on any prim of the cage. Just remember if you do this, the old one is gone, and you will have to contact me to get a replacement.

I don't recommend you try to resize the prims of the cage unless you are an experienced builder.

If you are an experienced builder: The script is in the door. Link it to the cage last. (It isn't necessary to link the components at all, although if you don't it will certainly make your life more difficult if you want to move the cage or 'take' it into your inventory.)
